Join Antioch Pizza in Nine Simple Steps
Starting a business can seem daunting. We’ve been there! Antioch Pizza has developed and honed our franchise process to be as straightforward as possible. Once you’ve started following our nine-step franchise process, you’ll be well on your way to pizza franchise ownership.
1. Speak With Our Franchise Development Team
The first step in the franchise process is easy – simply complete our online form to let us know you’re interested. As soon as we receive your form, a member of our franchise development team will contact you to discuss your opportunity with our pizza franchise. If you’d like to move forward after our chat, we’ll provide you with a confidential information request form.
2. Complete the Confidential Information Request Form
Now that you’ve gotten to know us, we need to know you a little better. This due diligence step helps us to better understand you and your financial picture. We know that this step might be a little nerve wracking, but we are all on the same team and we just want to make sure that you’re in the best possible position to succeed. After we’ve reviewed your confidential information, if you have met our qualifications, we’ll send you a reviewable copy of our franchise disclosure document (FDD).
3. Meet With Our Team and Review the FDD
Your next step will be a meeting with the company leaders who make up our franchise support team. By giving you the opportunity to interact with the team you’d work most closely with, this step in the franchise process helps you get a better feel for the company and gives us a better feel for you. During this meeting, you’ll also have the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have about our FDD. The FDD includes a detailed investment breakdown, financial performance, fee structure, and other information that you’ll need to make an informed decision about franchising with us, so it’s important that you review it thoroughly.
4. Secure Financing, Sign the Franchise Agreement, and Finalize Site Selection
Once you’ve met with the team, reviewed the FDD, and have been approved by the Antioch Pizza franchise team, you will be able to move forward in the franchise recruitment process.
Before signing your franchise agreement, you’ll need to secure financing and pay your initial franchise fee. While we don’t offer in-house financing, we’ll be happy to help you find a third-party vendor. As soon as your financing is secure and you’ve paid your franchise fee, you’ll sign your franchise agreement and become an official member of the Antioch Pizza family.
To finalize the site selection process, you’ll work closely with our franchise support team to find sites in your area that fit our requirements. Once we’ve approved your site, you’re free to execute your lease. We will work closely with you to ensure that the buildout of your restaurant goes smoothly and aligns with our guidelines.
5. Attend Training
Your training will take place in Antioch, IL and will be divided between classroom and hands-on training. We’ve designed this training to get you up and running with confidence! For more information, visit our franchise training and support page.
6. Start the Site Buildout and Hiring Processes
Once the franchise agreement and lease is signed, you’ll begin the buildout process. We’ll help you throughout every step of the buildout, including design and equipment guidelines. At this time, you’ll also begin hiring higher level employees, including your manager. As your manager is required to attend training with you, this step in the franchise process will need to be completed before you join us in Antioch.
7. Receive Onsite Assistance from Your Support Rep
Prior to your opening, our regional support team will be onsite to help you train your staff and prepare for opening. They’ll learn everything they need to know about our processes and procedures, as well as how to prepare our menu items. You and your manager will also receive assistance in planning and ordering initial inventories from our trusted suppliers.
8. Begin Marketing to Customers
At Antioch Pizza, nothing means more to us than being the crust of the community. We take pride in becoming foundational parts of the areas we serve. Let your neighbors know about their new favorite pizzeria by implementing our impactful local marketing campaigns. We utilize a combination of traditional marketing methods and social media marketing to reach the widest audience and grow your customer base quickly.
9. Open Your Antioch Pizza Shop
Now the fun can begin! Your support rep will remain onsite for the first week after your grand opening to ensure that you can hit the ground running. As long as you follow your training, the path to success as an Antioch Pizza franchisee is clear.
