Franchise Training and Support

All franchises offer their new franchisees some degree of training, but all franchise training and support programs are not created equally. Antioch Pizza has developed a leading-edge franchise training program that is geared toward giving you all the skills you need to build a thriving pizza franchise. As soon as you’ve signed your franchise agreement, you’ll begin your franchising journey with a combination of classroom and hands-on training, which will set you up for success. Throughout the life of your franchise, you’ll also receive world-class franchise support that is tailored to the needs of your restaurant.  

If you’re a first-time business owner or entering an industry that’s new to you, it’s natural to be overwhelmed. We’ve developed our training program to give you one less thing to worry about. During our comprehensive franchise training program, you’ll receive thorough on-the-job and classroom training that will teach you everything you need to know about operating an Antioch Pizza franchise. 

During your time with us in Antioch, you’ll learn everything you need to know about the day-to-day elements of operating your business. The bulk of your training will be hands-on and devoted to learning the fine points of operating an Antioch Pizza franchise. This portion of the training will cover operations, management, food preparation, and our point of sale (POS) system. You’ll learn how to prepare all of our menu items using our original recipes, which have not changed since the founding of the first Antioch Pizza restaurant in 1977.  

The classroom portion of your training includes courses on administration, management operations, and leadership. We believe in your natural leadership skills, and learning our processes and procedures will make it easier for you to more effectively lead your team. You’ll also receive thorough training on how to market your restaurant to attract guests, establish loyalty, and grow your reputation. Perhaps most importantly, you’ll be trained on the culture, philosophy, and community outreach that are integral to Antioch’s mission.  

This initial in-person franchisee training takes place over a period of time that will depend on which franchise format you choose. Before your training is considered complete, both you and your manager will be required to pass our initial training assessment. Once you’re ready to open, we will come to your restaurant for additional on-site training and opening assistance. We’ll stick around after your grand opening just to be sure that everything is running smoothly. Because we’re committed to the growth of our franchisees, you may have the opportunity to take additional courses throughout the life of your business.
